The fifth ECCENTRIC seminar was held at Angel Kanchev University of Ruse at the invitation of Prof. Velizara Pencheva, President of the General Assembly of the University.
The meeting was attended by lecturers, PhD students and students from the Department of Transport. Prof. Ilieva from Club URGO briefly presented the aims of the project and the current activities. The Dissemination manager of the project Eng. Lachezar Rossenov delivered a lecture on the participation of universities around the world in the development and implementation of Sustainable Urban Mobility - international projects, scientific and applied conferences, dissertations and diploma works, and "living-labs". The opportunities for partnering in the field of training, research work and projects have been outlined.
There was a lively discussion on topics related to mobility. The two sides agreed to cooperate, as Prof. Ilieva invited the Department to take part in the forthcoming ECCENTRIC conference to be held this autumn.
