The representatives of CSDCS Maria Stoycheva and Daniel Dimitrov participated in a training session of the European Green Public Procurement Network, which took place on 20 June 2017 in EC - DG Environment, Brussels.
The training was organized by ICLEI, a leading global network bringing together over 1500 cities, municipalities and regions involved in building a sustainable future. Representatives of NGOs from Spain, Lithuania, Estonia, Ireland, Bulgaria, Belgium, the Czech Republic took part.
The legal aspects and approaches were considered to the implementation of the green public procurement criteria in the 10 priority sectors, including clean transport and mobility.
The focus was on the role and work of the NGO sector as a motivator of public authorities on the use of GPP such as tool to achieve sustainable growth.
